CHELSEA CAHILL

I redesigned a card set for an annual fundraising effort by a group I am in at the DCCH Center. The fundraiser is a Mother's Day appeal, and we give people the chance to donate money to our organization in honor or in memory of their mother or another important woman in their life.

They had been using the previous design for about 10 years, and it was my job to update the cards while maintaining the original message. I knew I wanted to incorporate the angel that had been used as the primary image in the past, but I wanted to focus on the kids since that is who the money is raised for. I also wanted to maintain a simple design, which led me to incorporate the image of the children in the title of our organization. The result is a streamlined set that clearly communicates the information in a visually pleasing way.
